I’m dedicated to helping you embrace your unique life and be present with those you love. I’ve learned to find acceptance of myself and my differences, and am passionate about helping you embrace your strengths and find the beauty and appreciation in your differences, as well!
Virginia Online Therapy is focused on meeting you where you are and working at your pace. These sessions will all be done from the comfort of your own home. We can meet during naptime, on your lunch break, or anywhere in the state of Virginia. Together, we’ll find hope and real solutions, based on your unique strengths. My goal is to understand what you are struggling with in life, and to help you implement actions so you can feel more in control!
As a mom with ADHD and LD, and raising children with their own learning differences, I know the struggle of trying to just get through the day. Keeping up with chores and social events, juggling doctor’s appointments and therapies, trying to tame the daily deluge of homework, projects, endless paperwork, and after-school activities; I’ve been there, done that, and I remember how out of control it can feel. Being on the other side of that part of my journey gives me a unique insight into your daily struggles. Having worked with populations such as pediatric hospice, people living with HIV/AIDS, homeless families, military families, and teachers, as well as a wide variety of individuals in my private therapy practice, I understand the necessity of caring for and accepting yourself, and finding balance in your life so that you can continue to use your gifts to help others and get the most out of your life.
