Never second guess a red flag that someone you know could need emergency help now. Some signs are more obvious, such as dangerous or self-harmful behavior. Others are more subtle like sudden calmness or withdrawal. If you or a loved one, friend, neighbor or anyone else you know is in crisis, danger or appears to need help dealing with troubling feelings or a traumatic situation, there are many free, confidential emergency resources that can help.

If in doubt, call for help.
