About Jennifer Enders

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. My work experience ranges from psychiatric inpatient work to outpatient behavioral health work with adults, children, and families. I am an infant mental health specialist with experience providing Child Parent Psychotherapy. In addition, I am Certified Mindfulness and Meditation teacher through the School of Positive Transformation. Overall experience includes over 21 years working with clients with different presenting concerns; such as depression, anxiety, addiction issues, family conflict, parenting issues, trauma histories, and other various emotional and behavioral health challenges. I also have over 8 years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor. I use a person centered approach and value the importance of a good therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices as part of my therapeutic interventions. My work with children includes therapeutic play interventions, techniques from sandtray, as well as teaching different skills to help with emotional and behavioral concerns. My counseling philosophy is one that explores belief systems and how these impact emotions and behaviors and thus have an impact on overall mental health symptoms. My expertise allows clients to develop their own perspective of problem solving and empowers them to make the changes needed in order to accomplish their goals.
