About Cody Cox

If you listen to biohacking podcasts or read holistic or functional health blogs and are frustrated with your chronic depression, stress, or anxiety, I may be the therapist for you! The body, mind, and spirit are so closely connected that it doesn't make sense to only focus on one aspect and expect sustainable change. Conventional therapy generally focuses on only the mind. It can still be helpful, but what if you could go deeper for longer-lasting relief? What about underlying conditions that might be perpetuating that low-level depression or anxiety, such as nutrient deficiencies? I believe a healthy lifestyle, and especially whole-food nutrition, to be the foundation for emotional resilience so I love to talk about these things. I also do EMDR, EFT (tapping), and mindfulness-based approaches for those who additionally need a more conventional approach. I won’t swear in therapy or push religion. But any religious values are respected. While I have a strong nutrition and lifestyle focus, I try to meet you where you are and within your means. But those who progress in therapy are the ones who are willing to put the work into it. I'm not the therapist for you if you want a quick-fix (that's not how most therapy works), but if you are willing to learn and be patient with change, let's talk!
