You deserve a therapist you feel at ease with. Growth occurs when we feel safe and connected in our relationships, including the therapeutic one. We will probably be a good fit if you are seeking to be understood from a strengths-based perspective. No matter what your struggle (or how long you've been struggling), my belief is that you are a human being having a very human experience. Therapy is an opportunity for you to develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion so that you feel more grounded and content in your day-to-day life.

My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed as well as LGBTQ+ and POC affirming. We work towards your goals at your pace. Finding the right therapist is important, so if either of us feels we are not a good fit for one another, I will be happy to provide you with a referral for a new therapist to better meet your needs.
Video counseling may sound intimidating but it’s really just like using Skype or FaceTime, except this platform is confidential. Online counseling is ideal if you want the convenience of having your sessions in the comfort of your own home as well as the extra confidentiality that comes with seeing a therapist who is not living in your community (i.e. you don't have to worry about running into me at Walmart!)
