About Josie Valderrama

I am a biracial Filipino & Scandinavian American psychologist who compassionately practices using proven approaches for clarity, peace of mind and effective action. Working at the intersection of BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and gender, sexual and relational diversity (GSRD), my clients tend to resonate within a shared reality of neurodiversity and multiculturalism as we endeavor to address everything from day-to-day anxieties to deep existential questions. I am an author of an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy self-help book and founding member of Bay Area Open Minds, a therapist network affirming gender and sexual differences.
