About James McCracken

For over 20 years, I have helped adult couples, families and individuals increase respect, intimacy and trust in their romantic, familial, peer and professional relationships, and helped people heal from past traumas and their outcomes (i.e. depression, anxiety disorders, addictive disorders) along the way. I have earned competency-based post graduate certifications as an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Practitioner and Supervisor, and have been intensively trained in various other approaches including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), which provide helpful guidance, but I always privilege my clients' strengths, healing and growth while facilitating and focusing on the corrective experiences present in the therapeutic relationship including how we work together towards your goals, creating and maintaining an authentic helping relationship, and working through problematic internal and interpersonal emotional patterns left from past adaptations that may no longer be needed. If you want to connect, please reach out with any questions you might have. I would be honored to support your healing and growth.
