Craig Elfert, BA, CLC

Craig Elfert is a Certified Life Coach and is also a family counselor habilitation specialist with Rutgers University with a degree in Psychology. Craig has over 30 years of experience working with various populations ranging in age from prepubescence and up, including those that are intellectually challenged, have a mental health diagnosis and/or substance abuse disorder. His most recent passion has taken him to a deeper role in helping families that have a loved one with a mental health diagnosis by providing the family support, psycho education, linkage, referral, and guidance. He has additional expertise in area of crisis management, Family Systems, Crisis Intervention, Mindfulness, Self-Wellness and has spoken multiple times at Crisis Intervention Training programs. My goal is to provide support and resources to families that have a loved one with mental health, addiction and / or intellectual disabilites. Focusing on discovering your own strengths, obstables and goals while holding you accountable for your progress. This will help you to re-imagine your life. With extensive experience in Life Coaching and Community Health, my individualized positive approach will help you attain your goals.
