About Elizabeth Davis

In 2004 I went to Yosemite National Park during the spring break of my last year in graduate school at NYU. I found my two passions that year, the counseling profession and the outdoors. Two months later I moved to Rocky Mountain National Park. I have had the fortune of living in some wonderful places throughout my career including the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and Durango, CO. I started working remotely the year before the pandemic and have found that most of my clients prefer therapy in the comfort of their own homes. I have taken this opportunity to live outside of the US six months a year. I am a trauma-informed clinician and IFS-informed. I am a lifelong learner and often suggest additional resources to my clients. I practice EMDR, DBT, and ACT. I am a follower of Dick Schwartz, Rick and Forrest Hanson, Tara Brach and many other healers. I have worked for 8 years as a school counselor and consultant but prefer to work with adults at this time. I have one employee who works with adolescents. On my time off you will find me on the trail!
