About Amanda Stretcher

I help self-critical overfunctioners who have often walked through various traumas cultivate a healthier relationship with self, others, and the world. I bring enthusiasm and hope into session, meeting you with compassion, acceptance, and patience. As a client, you will feel seen as we work to embrace everything that makes us each human, including pain and laughter. We work on learning to find and use your voice to ask for what you need, and to set healthy boundaries. Through the therapeutic process with me, you can begin practicing self-compassion, believing in your own worth and feeling connection between your mind and body. My specialties include trauma, anxiety, and disordered eating. I am trained in Brainspotting (BSP) as well as Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). I help self-critical overfunctioners who have often walked through various traumas in life cultivate a healthier and more connected relationship with self, others, and the world around them. I have passion for meeting people where they’re at and helping them move towards change and healing. I believe that authentic relationships are catalysts for connection and growth.
