Amanda Russo, LPC

Amanda Russo, MS, LPC is the clinical director of Balanced Life Solutions. She founded this practice in 2018 after 10 years of providing neurodiversity-informed therapy. She is an expert in providing diagnostic testing to adults and adolescents (ages 12+) for Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, learning disabilities, and giftedness. Her specialty is assisting women and individuals with subtle presentations or late detection of neurodiversity. Amanda holds a masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from UT Southwestern Medical Center, as well as bachelors degrees in Psychology and Child Learning & Development. Amanda's professional experiences include: Conducting childhood theory-of-mind research for the UTD Brain Performance Institute; working for the UTSW Psychological Services Department and Parkland Trauma Unit; serving autistic children as a student intern; providing psychoeducational presentations to educators and parents; and working in private practices, local community mental health clinics, and public schools. Additionally, Amanda is a certified teacher in elementary education, special education, and school counseling.
