About Ashley Anderson

My training and experience (personal and professional) gives me a keen understanding and sensitivity that enables me to work effectively with my clients, not against them. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, psychoeducation, creative and evidence-based approaches like mindfulness, guided imagery, and ecotherapy are examples of therapeutic modalities I offer. Feelings like overwhelm, stress, worry, anxiety, desperation or grief are common in the clients I see. Thoughts about "normal life", relationship conflicts, relationship repair, and needing a change in life are also common. If you have asked yourself, "Is change even possible?" "What would change look like?" "How is change accomplished?" then I might be a helpful counselor for you. I would be honored to support you in your therapeutic process. I trust that deep down, there is a part of you that knows exactly what you need. My job is to help you define and overcome the obstacles blocking your path to the truly enjoyable life you want and deserve. I help people better understand the relationship they have with themselves, as well as how this shapes the relationship they have with others. Quite often the change my clients achieve feels like personal freedom. If you would like support in your efforts toward change, I would be happy to speak with you. I am available in-person or via teletherapy.
