About Mirjana Kelava

I am an experienced Psychologist who has provided psychotherapy in various settings for over 25 years; my therapeutic approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and warm. I work with individual adults who are experiencing a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, cancer/medical diagnoses, life transition problems, grief/loss, geropsychology/older adult issues, food/body issues, and self-esteem. I have a particular interest in Women's Mental Health, including perinatal mood disorders (depression/anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum), parenting and work/identity issues, life transition/empty nest issues, relationship problems, food/body and self-esteem issues. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (1993) and my B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley (1987). I am licensed by the California Board of Psychology, license #PSY 14490, and am a member of the California Psychological Association and the Alameda County Psychological Association.
