About Stephen Barlow

My ideal client is someone who feels that they are facing difficulties in their mental health and would like some help and outside perspective. I want to help clients with a huge variety of issues and struggles, from many different backgrounds. I will learn alongside them on the best ways to help and provide support. For my clients, I know that it is a difficult thing to share about deeply personal issues, so I only ask that they take a brave step and be willing to talk a little about what is bringing them in I try to build an honest and supportive relationship in which clients can feel empowered to explore different aspects of their mental health they have not considered previously. By using mindfulness and focuses on cognitions, we can find different patterns and areas to intervene and create a more flexible, accepting, and calm way of approaching the world Please feel safe and welcome to talk to me about whatever is giving you stress, anxiety, or fear. You are the expert of your own life, I am not here to judge, I am here to help. Together we can work out what are the best ways for you to approach these issues, and empower you to create your own solutions.
