As a therapist I believe you are the expert in you & your experiences, everyone needs help sometimes, and trust & safety are foundational to a therapeutic relationship. I believe that you are a complete and whole individual already. The conditions of being human can be both wonderful and difficult. Healing can be uncomfortable and even painful; however, healing does allow us to step into ourselves and lives in new and healthier ways. Working with me in therapy is an avenue to help you address roadblocks, process trauma, access and discover your strengths, and develop individualized mental health tools. Depression, anxiety, trauma, and other life experiences or conditions can create blocks in life that prevent you from thriving. I follow an integrative model to therapy, combining a variety of theoretical approaches which are dependent on your needs. My foundational approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma informed. Some other theoretical orientations that I integrate include a somatic approach, parts work, narrative work, Adlerian therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). I strive to provide a non-judgmental safe space where you feel comfortable to address and heal from harm and trauma.
