Stefanie Kuhn, MA, MA, LMFT-A

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I was born and raised in Germany and came to the Houston area in 2015 when my husband wanted to move back to the US. I got my first master’s degree in Germany in social science and worked in a corporate environment for about 10 years, which never really fulfilled me. With the move to the US, I took the chance to learn more about my true passion: Psychology. I went back to school to pursue a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Today I am working in a profession that I truly love because I get to help people live a healthier and happier life. As a relationship expert, I work with individuals and couples who are going through difficult times, experiencing conflict in their relationship, or feeling stuck and unsure about how to handle the issues in their lives. It is very important to me to create a warm, safe and non-judgmental space where my clients can speak on their own terms. My therapy approach is not a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I alter my approach to my clients’ unique and individual needs. This also involves a mix of empathy, compassion, humor, support and practical solutions.
