About Denise Myers

Hi, I'm Denise Myers, M.Ed. I'm a Licensed Psychological Practitioner who loves to work with adolescents, college students, and young adults who have ongoing challenges with ADHD, learning challenges, anxiety and depression. My goal is to help you stop feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, procrastinating, and getting burned out and start guiding you to where things feel manageable again. Being a therapist is an honor. I love helping people move towards positive changes and optimism about the future, and witnessing them achieve more fulfilling lives. The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is giving hope when people feel hopeless. I am committed to guiding you to where things feel manageable again. Sessions will provide you with the space to be understood and heard. In feeling safe and comfortable, you'll be able to figure things out about yourself and express your thoughts and feelings. It's important to me to provide a non-judgmental space where you can be yourself and stay open to any feedback and questions you may have. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to psychotherapy, psychological testing, ADHD coaching, or dyslexia therapy. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns. As a therapist, I embrace the following philosophies: - I believe that there is no shame in asking for help - I believe that you are strong enough to be present with what you may be going through - I believe that taking care of yourself is the most generous thing you can do for the world - I believe that sometimes small steps in the right direction end up being the biggest steps in the end - I believe that people underestimate their ability to change. It's possible to change. It's possible to enjoy life again.
