About Amy Brown

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by. Sometimes, talking with friends and family just isn’t enough. An experienced, licensed professional can provide objective feedback, gentle guidance, and non-judgmental support within a safe, respectful therapeutic relationship. After 31 years in the field, I’ve learned a lot about how best to support folks struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress, substance use, self-harm, and self-defeating behavior patterns. I specialize in adolescents and young adults, though work with folks age 12 or older. I’m a parent, dog-lover, and seasoned clinician. My clients say I’m down-to-earth, really easy to talk to, witty, straight-forward, and an excellent listener. I encourage you to reach out and find out for yourself. We’ll talk and decide whether to schedule an initial consultation. I promise that I won’t waste your time or money. If we’re not a great fit, I’ll help you connect to a trusted colleague better equipped to meet your needs. If you don’t contact me, please contact another therapist. You deserve to feel better. And nobody should struggle alone.
