About Janice Moran
Do you or your child/family member have a disability or chronic illness? Do you feel overwhelmed, stuck, shame, and/or fear? Having difficulty in supporting your loved one? I am your person. What you are experiencing involves ambiguous loss. I can help you navigate the grief and adjustment process, and help you find positive coping strategies for day-to-day life.
As a therapist who has been blind since birth, I am able to use my knowledge and background from both ends of the spectrum in order to provide specialized therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing disability/chronic illness.
I provide therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. I specialize in and have a passion for families who have a child with special needs i.e. visual impairment, physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities, as well as clients who are experiencing chronic illness. I also conduct college and career counseling. I serve children, adolescents, and adults. In addition to therapy, I am able to help you and your family access local services and state resources related to your specific needs.
