About Neal Brodsky

I help clients move towards “authentic life expression.”

An adult facing the stress of every day life

A couple looking to face challenges and build connection

A child or adolescent needing help to build inner strength

Therapy is a journey towards wholeness in body, mind and spirit. I am a therapist of Jewish descent who welcomes clients of many cultures and backgrounds to take steps towards meaningful and rewarding lives. Authentic life expression can be supported and thwarted in families and by societies that mistakenly value sameness. My work is to nurture the individual power and promise held within each person.

For adults seeking relief from anxiety, giving your “Inner Child” or "Inner Rebel" some airtime in therapy can help heal unresolved issues from childhood. Re-charging the brain and body in therapy can help you design more pleasurable ways to live your life.

For children and adolescents I use movement, dynamic play, expressive methods and humor to break through with kids. My goal: guide parents in strategies that promote an individual child’s strengths and greater harmony within the family. I authored a chapter in the 2021 Routledge International Handbook of Play, Therapeutic Play and Play Therapy.

For couples, I work both on my own and also offer a premium service with my wife and co-therapist Judy Gotlieb, LMFT, accessing the perspective of two therapists in each couple's session. We offer online couples work, for new and longterm relationships.
