About Elizabeth Ezra

Reaching out for help is a sign of strength.  My approach is to help you identify your strengths  and help you utilize them to achieve greater harmony in your day to day interactions.  I have over 15 years of experience, working side by side with clients, dealing with a multitude of issues that create challenges and obstacles that can be avoidable or reduced. I create a caring and safe environment where you can express your fears and concerns openly. It is easy to feel overwhelmed sometimes. We will work together to understand how anxiety and doubt work against finding clarity and resolution to most difficulties. I advocate by refining mangeable small steps. Let’s work together to make changes that are within your reach and are sustainable.

My experience and training working with people facing illness, facing major crossroads decisions, and everyday struggles guides each  of the interventions that I choose especially for you. I take the privilege of being a witness to the trials and joys of your life very seriously.  Through active listening and a non-judgmental stance I will stand with you to make an impact on your outlook on life. My goal is to help you see how some changes can make a real difference.

I have worked with individuals and families facing serious illness like Cancer, Alzheimer’s and MS.  I understand the ‘ripple effect’ that occurs when one hears devastating news. I can help you as you navigate the trajectory of illness and help you advocate for yourself or a loved one. I understand and can appreciate the distress and tension that come hand in hand with chronic and acute failing health.

As sometimes follows, I have also developed a gentle touch when working with people who have lost loved ones.  Healing after a loss takes patience, resilience and commitment because it cannot occur without time and effort.  I am prepared to be a guide through the twists and turns of bereavement. I will try to answer your questions as you learn to find a place in your heart to hold your memories and find the acceptance and forgiveness to feel engaged in life again.

I am willing and able to be part of your exploration. Please give me a call or send me a message so we can start begin a conversation and you can start on a new path. I can also do teletherapy on a secure platform.
