Perhaps my background and experience will be compatible with what you feel you need: I have practiced as a person-centered, relational, humanistic, psychodynamic psychotherapist for more than 35 years. I value our time together as an opportunity to begin to know you and understand what you may need from our conversations.

I have worked with individuals and couples sruggling with anxiety, depression, stress, and difficult childhood experiences.  I support people to better understand their important relationships, to cope with life changes and transitions, and to balance the need for emotional connection in relationshps with a strong sense of oneself.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples understand the connection between current difficulties and childhood relationships and experiences.  I also facilitate people to assess their use of alcohol and other drugs in order to discover what place, if any, substances should have in their lives.

I am available for a free phone consultation in advance of a first meeting.  My fee is on a sliding scale depending on circumstances. I accept checks and cash.  I do not accept insurance.
