About Lori Haas
When your body and your brain don't match you can end up feeling isolated and frustrated. You might be asking if you are transgender. It can be scary to think about coming out as your true self and wondering how others will react. You might be worried about losing your significant other, friendships, or your job. I am here to support you as you explore your gender identity, plan for transitioning to present as yourself, or just get the life you really want. I have a transgender spouse so I can understand what you might be going through.
I support trans teens and their families to understand and support each other, couples who are struggling, and trans adults and seniors. If you have felt you never fit in, felt misunderstood, or just wanted to finally be yourself, I am excited to hear your story.
My wife and I met when we were 10 years old. This has made me an advocate for those who are transgender and those who love them.
I also work with many same sex couples to be able to be happier and more satisfied in their relationship. I have specific couples therapy training.
I have a post graduate Certificate in Affirmative LGBT Therapy from Southern Methodist University and extensive clinical experience with gender diverse clients.
