About Meg Young
You are feeling stressed and are at your wit's end right now. Maybe someone even told you you have to seek therapy. You're not sure you want to be in therapy. You're worried you'll be seen as weak or it'll have a negative impact on you at work (loss of promotion, etc).
I get it. Most people I see are reluctant to come to therapy at first. They don't know what to expect and may not even think they need it.
My name is Meg Young and I am licensed in Florida and Connecticut as a Clinical Social Worker. I have been working in trauma recovery since 2006. I help adults regain a sense of control over their lives.
I specialize with first responders, medical professionals, and others suffering from the behavioral and emotional effects of trauma, whether you went through it personally or witnessed someone else's trauma by seeing, hearing, or learning about it at work.
