We are born in relationship and we get injured in relationship. I firmly believe that everything that comes through my door is about loss and that, at the centre core, is why you are here...because you have experienced loss. It is natural that we attach to people, places and things and when something happens to our attachment to that person, place or thing we experience loss and, at that time, it can feel unpleasant and spiralling. What is important to know is that is a natural reaction yet it is about how we deal with the loss and the coping skills we have to feel and heal the pain. I work with individuals and couples and both are centred around relationship and the relationship we build as counsellor/client(s). I aim for our relationship to be built on honesty, safety and realness so you can be open and explore what is really going on for you. Individuals and couples come to therapy as they are feeling uneasy within themselves, within relationship and with life. It takes bravery, courage and vulnerability to reach out and say I am struggling yet what is important is you have made the first step in reaching out by being here. I offer the initial assessment complimentary for individuals and just £30 for couples (due to pre-assessment work). My reason for this is because I want you to find the right counsellor for you.
