About Kaile Videtich

Kaile (Kay-La) is a Limited Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies located in San Francisco. As a certified Process Therapist and trained Drama Therapist, Kaile works with couples, families, adolescents, and individual adults, primarily LGBTQIA+ folks, around trauma and oppression (predominantly experiences of sexual abuse, domestic violence, racism, homophobia, and transphobia), relationship issues (primarily communication issues, overcoming trauma, intimacy issues, and mixed orientation relationships), sexual and gender identity, sexual wellness, parenting, grief, and intersectionality (the impact of overlapping identities). Kaile is trained in Nonviolent Communication, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Prepare and Enrich (structured assessment and support for relationships), and Tantric work (a practice of sacred and conscious sexual connection). Their sex-positive, Queer-affirming, integral therapeutic approach to working with each client’s needs includes experiential therapy, somatic therapy, relational therapy and family systems therapy.

Audre Lorde, one of my favorite poets, articulated it best: “If I didn’t define myself, I would be crunched into other people’s fantasies for me and eaten alive.”

Daily, we move through our lives without pausing to ask: who am I, how am I feeling, what do I need, what are my values and narratives, and how do I choose to respond to this world? Therapy has the capacity to be a safe, inviting space to move through our stories of wounding to find our empowered self with the guidance of a trained mental health professional. My therapy philosophy is that each person has healing potential within themselves and my goal is to illuminate that healing source through skillful care.

Please reach out to schedule a 20min free consultation session to see if we’d be a good fit for your therapeutic needs.
