About Jennifer Hooper

In 2010 she qualified, as a Graduate Profile Student on the MA in Counselling PGDip, at the Goldsmiths, University of London, Newcross, where she was featured in their 2011 Courses Prospectus.  She was sourced from Goldsmiths to work independently for the NHS PCT, as a GP Surgery Counsellor IAPT (Integrated Access to Psychological Therapies, NICE, on EMIS/IAPT Systems), and placed in the Southwark Psychological Therapies Team for a few years as an Honorary Counsellor working with men and women.    In post, she attended to patients in Dulwich also registered at the Maudsley Clinic and referred patients there too.   Parallel to her NHS Honorary post, she also spent a few years at the Hestia Women's Aid (part of Shepherds Bush Housing) in Uxbridge as an Honorary Psychodynamic Counsellor for Domestic Violence, supporting women and young mothers and children, and attending MARAC meetings in the Borough of Hillingdon.
