About Sarah Lauterbach

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I am originally from the Eastern United States, have lived abroad (Europe), and have been located in Northern California for over ten years. I started my journey to becoming a professional helper after volunteering for a local rape crisis center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I realized I could help more survivors by gaining a professional license in the mental health field. As a young adult I greatly benefited from working with a mental health professional. I know therapy works and I feel a duty to provide my skills to others in need of mental health services. I have extensive experience working with adults and adolescents. I have worked for community agencies, low fee agencies, and school-based agencies. I have a passion for this work and love building relationships with my clients.
