As a Senior Counselor & Life Coach with over twenty years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples & families achieve their objectives, find self-acceptance, greater peace of mind & joy in their lives. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kansas. Over the years, I have had numerous professional settings prior to opening my own Private Practice, Dawning of a New Day Counseling & Life Coaching in 2012. I have worked in several substance abuse & addictions settings, both as a Clinician and later, as the Western Region Program Director at Preferred Family Healthcare. I invested six years of service as a Clinician & Supervisor at Wyandot Center for Behavioral Healthcare serving the severely & persistently mentally ill population. I also had the honor of serving as the Regional Director of Psychological Health for the USMCR for five years, which fueled my passion for working with the Military populations; as well as, trauma survivors.
