About Karen Jennett
Are you stuck in a cycle of ineffective communication with your partner or co-parent? Are you considering separation or divorce and are unsure of what to do? Have you tried absolutely everything you can think of to make it better? Do you feel overwhelmed in how to move forward without anyone else, especially your children, getting hurt?
When it feels like your relationship is crumbling around you, it often seems impossible to imagine a way through this that doesn’t include the complete destruction of your family.
My name is Karen Jennett, MA, NCC, LPC-Intern supervised by Jay L. Jeter, LPC-S. I specialize in helping couples by negotiating relationship repair, navigating their separation or divorce, and/or building successful co-parenting skills. I provide discernment counseling for couples who are on the brink of a divorce decision. I also work with individuals seeking clear choices and solutions when their relationships are damaged or dissatisfying.
With children-in-crisis experience and over 10 years working as a family law paralegal, I bring a unique understanding and specific knowledge to individuals, couples, and families struggling to constructively deal with relationship changes. In my work with you and your family, I promise to listen carefully with an open mind, to reflect back honestly and directly what I hear, and to stay constructive and practical.
In addition to my small, controlled office environment, I have immediate openings for tele-therapy (video or phone sessions) and would be honored to support you during this time of uncertainty. Start with a free-20-minute intake to be sure we are a good fit!
