I specialize in effective, shorter-term couples counseling. People who want real solutions to the issues they're facing love my couples counseling approach. We create strategies to stop fighting and see eye-to-eye more, uncover the meaning underneath, and increase understanding to improve your relationship. My particular strength is working with couples on-the-brink of divorce or "couples in crisis." If you aren't sure if this relationship is "save-able," then I'm the right therapist for you. I schedule 90 minute sessions, every other week, with my couples. As things improve, we push those appointments out farther until you no longer need me. Another service I provide is Discernment Counseling. This is for people considering divorce. These sessions do not focus on making changes to stay together, but instead they focus on helping the couple decide if they want to stay together. We do this by taking a birds-eye-view of the relationship and finding clarity on what they want to do to move forward. Issues I work with: couples, marriages, divorce, break-ups, fighting, lack of connection, sex, infertility, new parents, parenting issues, division of work, low self-esteem, non-traditional relationships (poly, open, non-monogamy, swinging, etc), LGBTQIA+, and all walks of life are welcome and accepted.
