Overwhelming feelings of hopelessness, anger, sadness, anxiety and fear all have an impact on your emotional and mental wellbeing. You might be feeling alone, tired, worried or confused, and you’re looking for relief--you’re looking for change.
You realize that change must first start with you.
My clients are empowered to gain control of their mind and take an active stance in bridging the gap between where they are now with where they want to be. You are taught the skills needed to build awareness around your thought patterns, habits and behaviors, and situations that keep you stuck. And as a team, we use this knowledge to take actionable steps on your path toward wellness. This could look like confidence in one’s self, a deeper connection in your relationships, or harnessing your inner strength to work past pain and trauma.
No matter what the struggle that prompted you here, you are supported by a clinically trained and empathetic professional who will help you shape your life into one full of connection, fulfillment and purpose. We first discuss your history, understand your personal narrative and your goals. An individualized plan is then tailored for you around the following core principles that we work towards:
Relief from depression, anxiety, anger, grief, interpersonal/professional stresses or trauma
Stability during transitional events (such as loss of a loved one, financial hardship, divorce, or health diagnosis)
Mental prowess developed by building awareness, insight, mindfulness, grit and cognitive flexibility
Action being implemented through planning, practice and accountability support
Self and the rediscovery of “you”, your life’s purpose, and your continued growth
Adaptability and self-sustainability through coping techniques for life’s constant challenges
In addition to individual therapy for adults, I also work with children and adolescents. Parenting isn’t easy, and children who are still growing require specialized care. Since children are in the developmental stage, they learn best through play and other expressive means of social interaction. Sessions with children are supplemented with individual sessions with parents to go over your child’s progress and address concerns.
If you’re ready to take that first step towards a better life (for you or your child), call or text to schedule a free phone consultation at (408) 475-2510 or email me at
