About Stephanie Cook

Hi, my name is Stephanie Cook, and I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist. I appreciate this opportunity to share with you who I am, and the counseling services I provide. I offer couples and individual counseling. Sessions are available either in person at my Atlanta office, or online, through phone or video conferencing technology. I am passionate about helping people create better lives and relationships by providing the most updated, effective, and evidence-based methods of counseling available.

With more than a decade of clinical experience working in the mental health field, I have helped people from diverse backgrounds with a variety of concerns.  I completed a two-year clinical fellowship at Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia, where I provided counseling to students, faculty, employees, and their families. While working at Ridgeview Institute, a psychiatric and addiction treatment program, I provided therapy and education for adolescents and their families.

SPECIALTIES: I offer in-person classes on healthy relationships on Saturdays once per quarter for couples and individuals, called the "Gottman Seven Principles Program", which is based on decades of relationship research by the Gottman Institute.
ATTENTION: Right now, my practice is nearly full, so I have limited availability; however, if you would like to work with me in the future but cannot currently meet with me based on my availability, I would be happy to add you to my waiting list. Thanks!
