About Bernice Diop

I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My experience spans multiple years in various settings, such as outpatient, inpatient settings, homebound and community. I am an attentive listener, focused on helping individuals to feel comfortable in taking that initial step in asking for help. Areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, grief, interpersonal conflict, workplace issues, and anger management. Commonly used approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, a modified EMDR approach, and a broad range of strategies suitable to meet specific needs.
