About Teresa Turner

Hi… my name is Teresa. I am a 49 year old widow with two amazing kiddos - 23 (girl) and 13 (boy). My daughter recently married and now I am anxiously waiting for the grand babies! I hold a masters degree in Mental Health and have been a licensed clinical mental health counselor for the past 14 years. Living in Rural Utah as allowed me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of mental health issues. I use a Holistic approach in treatment providing support that looks at the whole person, not just their mental health needs considering your physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing. I incorporate Compassion Inquiry as well as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Values System. We all have different life experiences with different personalities and require a customized approach to treatment. I believe Knowledge is Power so I will educate you on specific issues as they relate to your needs and provide you with the necessary exercises that will help you make life changes.
