I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in Human Services with a specialization in counseling. I work with marriage and family issues including parenting and communication. Most of my clientele are adults followed by adolescents and then older children. About 75% of my practice involves working with adult relationship issues. These include adjust to major life changes such as grief, divorce, empty nest issues, and intimacy problems. I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, work related stress problems, adjustment issues, and faith or spiritual issues. II have a rather eclectic approach to counseling in that I borrow from several theories of human behavior and development. However, I gravitate to the existential model in that I'm interested in what the client is experiencing today and incorporate the cognitive behavioral model. My personal philosophy is that my clients have the answers they seek before treatment begins. Through therapy the answers become more clearly visible.
