About Dr. Milton Gordon

I am licensed in Tennessee with over 20 years of professional work experience. I earned a Doctor of Ministry in ministry with counseling emphasis, and earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have served as a counselor in various agencies in the past 25 plus years, including Volunteer Behavioral Health, Christian Psychological and Family Services, Vocational Rehabilitation Services in Tennessee, TAFT Youth Development Center for incarcerated youth in Tennessee (practicum), Mirror Lake Alcohol and Drug Residential Center, Youth Villages Youth and Family In-home Services and DeBerry Special Needs Facility for inmates. I have counseled with two of these agencies (adult and adolescent) as a Crisis Intervention Specialist assessing and consulting with medical staff on the care and aftercare of suicidal/homicidal patients. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, emotional dysregulation, and anger management. I have experience working with depression, alcoholism and drug addiction.
