I am a Christian and a passion for helping others. I have been a licensed master social worker in Michigan since 2005. I have provided therapeutic counseling to children and adults from all walks of life for a few years now. Some areas of focus for my clients are anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, parenting skills, anger management, abuse, neglect, domestic violence, self-care, etc. My extensive social work experience spans over 35 years with a background working with children, teens, parents, grandparents, and families. Majority of my work experience has been in the human services field where I interacted with individuals and families within the child welfare community, court systems, school systems, and private agencies. I also have a wealth of experience and knowledge on the macro level of management developing individual relationships across the human service field. My treatment approach is to support individuals to acquire the tools and strategies they need to manage their everyday circumstances. Therapy is a process and I assist my clients by supporting them along their journey. My approach is to listen to clients concerns, assess their needs, and provide strategic individualistic interventions that are attainable, meaningful, and promote a wholesome lifestyle. Together we establish goals to address their unique concerns and make adjustments as needed. All clients are treated with respect, compassion, and patience. Life happens and sometimes, coping with life circumstances can be challenging. I will meet you where you are, and provide the tools needed to be the person you desire. Taking the first step to seeking a happier and more fulfilling life takes courage. I am here to support you on your journey so, let's get started.
