About Marla Anderson

Hello - My name is Marla Anderson, and I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) from Northeast Texas. I started my counseling career as a school counselor more than 15 years ago. I began to make the change to an LPC in 2018, working both sides (school counseling and private practice). I fully made the crossover in June of 2021. During that time until the present, I have had the privilege to work with people from ages 3 to 73. I have experience in helping my clients work through stress and anxiety, addiction issues, depression, and anger management as well as motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating all my clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and working together to come up with the best treatment plan to meet unique and specific needs. Making the choice to reach out for help is a big step, and the first step is always the hardest. Congratulations on taking that first step towards a healthier you. I look forward to our journey.
