About Sara Harvey

I am fully licensed professional counselor (LPC) licensed in the state of Michigan. I have 12 1/2 years of professional work experience at a non-profit agency servicing at risk children and families. I work directly with children ages 4 to 17 years old and their families in their homes, their community or school. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, attachment and bonding issues & trauma and abuse. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or TF-CBT. I also have background and training in Infant Mental Health with the focus on attachment and bonding between the infant and mother and/or primary caregiver. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
