Hi! Thank you for taking time to read my profile. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 14+ years of clinical experience. I am a certified Interpersonal Psychotherapist (IPT), trained in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe my reason in life is to serve, empower, and help people on their journey towards becoming their best selves. I followed my passion to assist people in thriving by obtaining a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior at UC Irvine and a MSW in 2007 from CSULB. I have worked in several clinical settings including nonprofits, hospitals, and schools. I have experience in counseling couples, individuals (adults and children) and facilitating groups. I also have experience working with mothers with high risk pregnancies and postpartum issues, as well as pregnancy loss and pregnancy termination. I have received specialized training in maternal and infant health, as well as women's health and reproductive issues. Congratulations on taking the first step towards improving your well-being.
