About Stacey Curnow

Have you noticed that you and your loved one are fighting a lot? Are the number of “off-limits” topics growing? Is your child struggling, and you’re not sure why? Are you feeling unheard and taken for granted? Do you feel unlovable? Somehow defective? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I can help you achieve courageous love, joyful connection with the people you care about most, and creative solutions that truly meet everyone’s needs. No matter what your situation is, counseling is a great place to build a secure sense of self that helps you feel calm and centered even through the most difficult times. My work draws primarily from the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of counseling. It uses the relationship itself as a vehicle for growth and healing of the individual, as well as the couple or family. It’s a non-blaming approach that assumes that human beings are resilient and have inner resources of self-love and self-regulation to heal and grow. Thank you for reading this far. My name is Stacey Curnow. As a clinical mental health counselor and director of The Asheville Family Counseling Center I offer a full spectrum of counseling services in Asheville, including individual, couples, and family therapy. I also provide online counseling (via video conference) if we can’t meet in my office. No matter what you’re going through—conflict, alienation, loss, trauma, depression, grief—there is hope. We’ll work through the issues so you can feel your best. I’ll provide you with a personalized therapy plan designed to help get you there. If you’re ready to get started, schedule a free, 15-minute call with me to see how therapy may help you and/or your family.
