About Ivy Hall

You probably feel like stress, worry, and anxiety is with you all the time. And it probably seems that more often than not, your worry, anxiety, and fears are more hurtful than helpful. They happen too often, pop up out of nowhere, or too intensely. They show up when you’re at no risk of being harmed. Your thoughts are too disturbing and almost impossible to turn off. All of this and more have certainly gotten in the way with you living your life the way you want to live it. In fact, interference with life is probably one of the chief reasons you’re looking for help in the first place. The one thing I am sure of is healing IS possible. I help people who are wondering if their alcohol/drug use is a problem, or want to reduce or stop their alcohol/drug use. I also help people who have grown up in chaotic environments, or experienced traumatic events (e.g., assaults, combat, racism, etc), and have difficulties with finding safety and trust in the world and with other people. People can and have overcome trauma and addictions, repair and engage in relationships, and create a rich and meaningful life. I provide online therapy to reduce the obstacles (traffic, time, etc.) many find get in their way of pursuing therapy. I also provide psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification and to help people gain understanding of how they think, feel, learn, and how they interact and interpret their world. My goal is to fully understand each individual situation, identify strengths and weaknesses, determine the causes of the difficulties, and provide an in-depth documentation of the testing results. Additionally, I provide emotional support animal assessments. Schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation by email or directly https://calendly.com/ivyhallphd/phoneconsultation.
