About Marlena Butler

Dr. D. Marlena Butler holds two national licenses with the National Christian Counselors Association (Clinical Pastoral Counselor-Advanced Certified and Clinical Christian Counselor) and one with the Federal Association of Christian Counselors and Therapists (Clinical Christian Therapist) that allow for unrestricted practice within her pastoral scope. Dr. Butler is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist® and does in-depth work with women as a Balanced Life Coach. Clients appreciate and gain confidence from her unique coaching style. Starting with temperament (think spiritual genetics), Dr. Butler will help you to understand the deepest part of your being, then go beyond the exploration of emotions to deal with issues from your core. She does not force "religion" on clients but rather encourages developing a RELATIONSHIP with the only true healer. This encouragement is especially helpful to those healing from church hurt and legalism. Sessions are 90 minutes in length.
