About Jessica Ahrens
I am an LICSW with a holistic and mindfulness based approach. You may be experiencing increased stress, anxiousness, depression or feeling unsettled. You may feel like you are alone, isolated and that you can't talk with the people in your life about these issues. You may also wonder if there are other underlying issues or things that could change in your lifestyle to help support your emotional health. I will listen to you and provide you a safe and confidential space to work through these issues. I work to bring kindness, compassion and positive thinking to help people find their strength in a safe and non judgmental environment. I work to help you identify elements in life where small changes can yield big results. I also work to help you learn coping skills to utilize in moments of stress helping you manage life just a little bit easier. I enjoy helping people find ways to reduce the effects of stress, anxiety, depression and other issues that plague us on a daily basis. I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy generally using an eclectic and individualized approach to therapy. I currently work in private practice with Ahrens Counseling in Washington and I have 19 years of experience within the mental health field. I am passionate about emotional wellness and I am here to help you!
