I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Newport, Oregon. Philosophy I offer client centered counseling that blends mindfulness, meditation, self-compassion, CBT, DBT, aromatherapy, and holistic approaches. Driven by a deep commitment to helping others toward health and happiness, I will help guide you through emotional healing, life transitions, mental blocks, and unfulfilling relationship patterns. ​ Education, Training and Experience My education includes a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University in 2012, completion of my graduate school practicum at The Relief Nursery of Lane County's Therapeutic Early Childhood Program, coupled with a Clinical Internship at Serenity Lane, a residential dual diagnosis treatment center. I have gained critically valuable and extensive behavioral health skills as a Residential Addiction Counselor at Klean Treatment Center in Long Beach, WA and as a Mental Health Therapist at Direction Service Counseling Center in Eugene, OR. My core competencies include Individual, Family, and Group Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Addiction Treatment, Assessments, Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Support Group Facilitation. With these valuable assets, I bring a diverse skill set and in-depth knowledge to my practice. In order to maintain my license, I participate regularly in continuing education, taking courses that are relevant and meaningful to the process of therapy.
