Crystal Duncan, LCSW
About Crystal Duncan
I believe we all have a deep longing to be our authentic selves, connected to others in a way that feels safe and secure. Scientists are starting to better understand this need through the latest neuroscience research as well as Social researches like Brene Brown who are normalizing this desire in all of us to know and be known. My training goes beyond traditional talk therapy and encompasses somatic and neuroscientific practice that enables people to get to the root of their suffering so that they can feel secure in who they authentically are. Through the practice of integrating the mind, body, and spirit we become more whole and connected.
I have spent much of my career investing in advanced trainings, as well as healing from my own experiences. Therefor I am confident in my abilities to help others. I am warm, empathetic, curious, and non judgmental and I'm extremely passionate about helping people heal. The quality of the therapeutic relationship is vital in the healing journey.
I dont believe we are meant to suffer or work through our painful experiences alone. I know first hand that what has been most instrumental in healing for me in my life is having a trusted relationship with a skilled and secure therapist. I honor and respect your courage in taking the steps towards reconnecting back to your true self.
