About Natalia Sarmiento

I am a registered therapeutic counsellor and expressive arts therapist with current availability for online sessions. My goal is to support my clients on their self-discovery journey and help them foster their relationships with themselves and others. I work with issues including depression and anxiety, eating disorders, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ issues, family/relationship conflict, life transitions, embodiment, and creative expression. I use arts-based explorations, somatic awareness, and body-centred approaches as tools of self-study. My practice is also informed by holistic practices including yoga therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. I offer different modalities and methods to support your exploration and help bring awareness to your deepest wants and needs allowing space for expansion and genuine self-expression. I believe that a truthful, embodied life involves body, mind, and spirit, so I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where every aspect of our complex inner lives can come to light and be witnessed with compassionate curiosity.
