About Candi Seibert Flores
I help same-sex and heterosexual couples in traditional and non-traditional relationships struggling or feeling stuck in their relationships. It is not uncommon for couples to face problems that cause emotional disconnection and conflict as a result of life transitions, money, trust, jealousy, communication, infidelity, pre-martial readiness, and struggles with work/life/family balance, sex, intimacy, extended family, and blended family life.
My approach to couples therapy is grounded in Dr. John Gottman’s 40 years of research on relationships and his research-based interventions, which are grounded in his Sound Relationship House Theory. I help couples build the necessary skills to manage conflict; strengthen the couple’s friendship; remove the obstacles that hinder relationship growth; and enhance intimacy, respect, affection, understanding, and insights within the framework of the couple’s relationship.
As a designated Gottman Seven Principles Leader, I host psychoeducational virtual workshops for couples because couples thrive best when they nurture their relationships. The objective of this workshop is to enrich couples love for their relationships providing tools and skills based on Dr. John Gottman’s New York Times bestselling book—The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.
