Amy Schnell, LPC

I am originally from Oklahoma. I previously taught secondary English, and I am passionate about helping others have a positive outlook. I have gravitated toward individuals who are experiencing anxiety, social concerns regarding school, or those who have experienced significant trauma in their pasts. I have worked in the following settings: community, school, church, & group. I have focused on trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. Facing emotional challenges is not easy, but once one is able to start taking the steps to learn how to address them, it becomes more doable. Often it just takes someone walking with you to make the desired progress.
